Abstract
Objective By observing the changes of activity of protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) in wound margin tissue and granulation tissue of rabbit ear and speed of wound healing after using IFN-γ to research the mechanism of IFN-γ effecting. Methods IFN-γ was applied on the wound of rabbit ear. The PTK activity in the tissue from 1d, 3d, 6d after wound epithelization and in normal skin were measured by phosphorus ( 32 p) incoporation. The time of epithelialization was also observed. Results The PTK activity in wound margin tissue and granulation tissue was obviously elevated in comparing with that of normal skin (P0.01). PTK activity of wound margin tissue recovered to basic level after 6d while that of granulation tissue still maintained at higher level (P0.05). IFN-γ could increase PTK activity(P0.01) and delay wound healing(P0.01). Conclusion PTK activity in wound healing might be related to healing rate. The increase of PTK activity by IFN-γ suggested that PTK not only might cmediate the stimulating signal of the growth factor family but also the signal of IFN-γ to delay wound healing.
