Effects of Slope Land Use Types on Soil Fertility in Hill Region of Middle Sichuan

[Objective] The research aimed to study the effects of different slope land use types on soil fertility.[Method] Soil physical and chemical properties under the three main types of land use(farmland,orchard land,forest land) in Tongjia watershed in the hill region of the middle Sichuan were studied through field soil sampling and laboratory analysis.[Result]The little anthropogenic disturbance was get in forest land,where the soil fertility was high.Both orchard land and farmland usually got remarkable influences from human activities.However,the soil fertility was higher in orchard land than that in farmland,because they had some differences for land management and use,such as the economic output,labor input,economic input and so on.[Conclusion] The different slope land uses had obvious effects on soil fertility.
