Abstract
Microstructure and mechanical properties of ZL105 alloy in different states were studied. The results show that as-cast microstructure of ZL 105 alloy is mainly dendritic structure and eutectic phases. Dendrite arm spacing increases with the increase of heat treatment time, and eutectic silicon spheroidizes and growths, which weaken the strength and plasticity of ZL105 alloy. After more than three times of repeat heat treatment, the mechanical properties of ZL 105 cannot meet the requirements.
