Study on Blooming and Seed Setting Characteristics,Infruit and Seed Growth of Caraganas in arid areas of Inner Mongolia

The results showed that among 3 kinds of Caraganas,the florescence of Caragana intermedia was the shortest;Full bloom stages of Caragana intermedia and Caragana microphylla were in the middle and last ten-day of May,and turned into seed setting period in the last ten-day of May and the first ten-day of June.That of Caragana korshinskii was later about half a month.92.42% of Caragana korshinskii seeds completely turned into mature,their lengths were all above 3mm,which was 22.49% higher than Caragana microphylla,21.41% higher than Caragana intermedia.Infruit lengths of Caraganas were all above 20mm,but proportions were different in 20～30mm and 30～40mm.Infruit widths of Caraganas were all above 3mm,but proportions were different in 3～6mm and 6～9mm.Loss rate of flowers and fruits of Caragana korshinskii was 82.37%;Caragana microphylla,75.96%;Caragana intermedia,65.98%.
