Abstract

The computation of combined GPS/GLONASS Precise Point Positioning(PPP) was conducted in seven sessions using static data from five IGS observation stations. The performance was assessed in terms of converged position accuracy and convergence time with a comparison to that of GPS-only.The results indicated that adding a few GLONASS satellites would not contribute to improving positioning accuracy at the situation of currently sufficient GPS satellites. However, the convergence time could be improved significantly.
