Abstract

Endophytic fungi are important microbial resources which deserved to be researched and exploited. The reported endophytic fungi of tea are mainly Colletotrichum, Pestalotiopsis, Guignardia, Phomopsis, Macropho, Aspergillu, Trichoderma, Penicillium, Alternaria and Fusarium. The species and the quantity of endophytic fungi always varies with different tea varieties, parts, growth period, seasons and environments. Endophytic fungi can change the chemical component of tea, promote the growth of tea bushes, product secondary metabolites with antibacterial function. In this paper, the research advances on endophytic fungi of tea were reviewed.
