Abstract

Because of the complex fractionation mechanism of oxygen in organic matter, the potential application of organic oxygen isotope is restricted in agriculture, ecology and paleoenvironment. This paper discusses the source of oxygen isotope, the isotope fractionation mechanism of oxygen and affectiong factors, and provides some help in research on the potential application of organic oxygen isotope.
