Abstract

Purpose:To evaluate the significance of dipyridamole test in diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD) with 99m Tc -MIBI myocardial imaging. Methods:The dipyridamole test was performed duriong 99m Tc-MIBI myocardial SPECT imaging among 21 normal subjects and 88 CAD patients. Results:The sensitivity was 83% and the specificity was 90.5% in the diagnosis of CAD with dipyridamole test. These results were similar to maximum exercise. Conclusion:Dipyridamole test is a simple, convenient and wide-indication method and is worth to spread in clinic.
