Abstract

This paper proposes a network model of knowledge transfer in light of complex network theory and methodology and explores the effect of network structure on knowledge transfer in organizations. After simulating the dynamics of knowledge transfer on four representative networks, namely, scalefree network,small-world network, regular network and random network,we calculate the growth rate, the variation coefficient and the Moran coefficient of knowledge level. Results show that scale-free network structure improves the performance of organization's knowledge transfer.
