Abstract
N-(4-pyridylmethyl)carbazole was synthesized by N-alkylation reaction using carbazole and 4-chlorinemethyl pyridine as feedstocks.,the production rate in DMF reaching 84% under the ambient temperature.Elemental analysis,IR,1H NMR,MS are conducted to characterize the product's structure.The UV,fluorescence spectrum have been recorded,The results show that the compound has good UV absorption and fl uorescence.
