Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of radionuclide bone imaging in the diagnosis of patients with fracture. Methods The radionuclide bone imaging was performed in 48 patients with suspicious fracture. The results of radionuclide bone imaging and other imaging examinations were retrospectively analyzed. Results All the cases were proved by histopathology or follow-up examination. In the 48 patients, the results of radionuclide bone imaging in 32 cases were the same as the results of other imaging examinations. The number of missed or mistaken diagnosis on other imaging examinations was 16 cases. Conclusion Radionuclide bone imaging is a good choice of diagnosing fracture. As for some unclear diagnosis in early clinical treatment, radionuclide bone imaging is helpful.
