In recent years, cultural and creative industries are playing an increasingly important role in the world economic and social development. Creative industries are becoming the most promising industries in the 21st century. Cultural and creative industries are to adapt to the rise of a number of new categories of cultural industries as patterns emerged. In this paper, to start with the connotation of the creative industries, the author analyses the development of cultural and creative industries in Tianjin of the status and features according to a wealth of primary research data, and provides a certain theoretical basis on cultural and creative industries in Tianjin.
