Abstract
Gold nanoparticles carbon nanotubes modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared and used for the study of electrochemical reactions of resorcinol.The results show that both the gold nanoparticles and carbon nanotubes could catalyze electrochemical reaction of resorcinol and gold nanoparticles carbon nanotubes modified electrode exhibits better catalytic effect,which makes it possible for the detection of resorcinol using electrochemical methods.Furthermore the effects of the amount of carbon nanotube,the layers of composite,pH and electrolytes on the electrochemical behavior of resorcinol were also studied.
