Abstract
The hydrolyzing performance of corn stalk by using dilute acid is studied. The influential factors are investigated included the concentration of substrate, reaction temperature, reaction time, the concentration of dilute sulfuric acid and the granularity of the corn stalk. The results indicate that hydrolyzing rate and xylose yield can reach 21.7%-24.6%% and 68.0%-77.1%,respectively,under the condition of 126℃,50-80 g/L of substrate concentration,1% of sulfuric acid concentration and 1 hour of reaction time. The reductive sugars in the hydrolyzing liquid mainly are xylose and glucose, which can be used in the fermentation after simple treatment.
