Analysis on the Competitiveness of Pig Products of Shanxi Province

Abstract

The pig industry is an important component of the rural economy and the dominant of the livestock industry.Located in the Loess Plateau,Shanxi Province have resources advantages in the development of the pig industry.A comparative analysis is conducted among the cost,price,earnings of pig products in different feed ways with the average of those in China and reveals the quality safety situation of livestock products of Shanxi province,then put forward suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of pig products in Shanxi Province.
