Abstract
In order to satisfy the requirements of hauling 5?000?t and operating with 120?km/h speed for the raising speed freight locomotive it is necessary to make use of the technology of radial bogie and the technology of A C transmission. These technologies not only improve dynamics, traction and curving performance of locomotive, markedly、but also reduce maintenance cost and increase the reliability significantly.By means of comparative computation, this paper obtains some difference on the performance of structure, dynamics, traction and curving between radial bogie and non-radial bogie at same time, the structure layout and the relevant parameters for both bogies were introduced simply.
