Abstract

Based on the previous studies on the regional metallogeny and the newly achieved results on the basic geology and prospecting of mineral resources in Heilongjiang Province, this paper has basically summarized the characteristics and regularities for the regional matllogeny of base and precious metal resources in Heilongjiang Province by applying the present theories and methods for geological survey and mineral resources prospecting.Reclassification of the tectono-metallogenic units and metallogenic systems and the prospective of mineral resources in Heilongjiang Province have been undertaken.3 second-order(Ⅱ) metallogenic provinces,6 third-order(Ⅲ) metallogenic belts,30 fourth-order(Ⅳ) metallogenic belts, and 22 fifth-order(Ⅴ) orefield or mineralization concentration areas have been outlined as the tectono-metallogenic units in Heilongjiang Province.15 metallogenic systems and 26 metallogenic sub-systems,47 deposit types have been classified.69 potential areas for mineral prospecting,67 key working areas, and 163 mineral prospecting targets have also been outlined respectively.
