Abstract
[Aims]The study aims to screen out the insecticides with highly efficacy and low toxicity for controlling Colposcelis signata adults.[Methods]Toxicity test in laboratory was done by the method of dipping foliar and field efficacy of five insecticides was done by using foliar spraying.[Results]The results of toxicity test showed that matrine0.5%SL was highly toxic to C.signata adults.Furhter, with LC_50 values of 0.23 mg/L after 24 hours and 0.10 mg/L after72 h,respectively.Followed by beta-cypermethrin 4.5%EC and emamectin benzoate 1.14%EC,their LC_50 values were1.17 and 3.39 mg/L,respectively.The results of field experiments showed that five pesticides were highly active and could be used as the candidates for controling C.Signata adults.Especially matrine 0.5%SL and imidacloprid 10%WF had the characteristics of efficient and sustainable control effect.[Conclusions]Therefore, matrine 0.5%SL and imidacloprid 10%WP were the most appropriate insecticides for controling C.signata adults. While emamectin benzoate 1.14%EC could be applied as the alternative pesticides.
