Abstract
Objective To discuss the application of 64-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of dissection aorta by double-phase scanning on whole aorta combined with reconstruction technique. Methods Vascular imaging data of 64-slice spiral CT in 40 patients with aortic dissection were analyzed retrospectively. Results Real and false lumens were identified in all 40 cases studied.Of whom, those belonged to DeBakey types Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ were 17,one,and 22 cases, respectively. The leakages were found in 25 patients.Involvement of the three main branches of aortic arch or part of them were showed in 13 cases, celiac artery trunk in six, superior mesenteric artery in five, right renal artery in seven, left renal artery in 12,and iliac artery in 19;Seven cases were complicated with pericardial effusion,13 with pleural effusion, and one with pulmonary embolism. Conclusion By double-phase scanning of whole aorta combined with reconstruction technique,64-slice spiral CT shows a high clinical value in detection of aortic dissection.
