Abstract
With the rapid development of wireless mobile communications, the incremental data density challenges the system performance of wireless Mesh networks. For Ad hoc network, the average capacity decreases as the number of the nodes increases. Therefore, there exists a bottleneck in deploying large scale wireless Mesh networks. The scalability techniques are crucial for the adaptive networking of wireless Mesh networks. Key scalability techniques for wireless Mesh networks are studied, and the main techniques for the Mesh base station and Mesh mobile client, such as channel allocation, intelligent routing, multi-aerial, node classifying, QoS level, and cooperative transmission are introduced.
