Abstract

Lifelong learning is one of the most important actions in education revolution in China. Informal learning is cru-cial for lifelong learning. The article,by briefly introducing 3 types of informal learning environments,expatiates on the basic characteristics of learning in designed settings and its advantageous influences on science learning.
