Determination of Heavy Metals in Five Kinds of Staple Herb - medicine

Abstract

Objective:To determinate and analyze the contents of As,Hg,Cd and Pb in monkshood,szechwan lovage rhizome,costustroot,Anisodus luridus and rhubarb planted in Dali traditional Chinese medicine field.Method:The contents of As,Hg,Cd and Pb were examined by atomic fluorescence spectrometry.The assay method was up to the standard of methodology.Results: Under the optimal working condition,the mean recovery rate was 97.61%～102.18% and relative standard deviation RSD was 0.001%～1.04%.The results showed that the contents of As,Hg,Cd and Pb in the five kinds of traditional Chinese medicine conformed to the limiting standard of the heavy metal contents in Chinese pharmacopoeia 2005.Conclusion:Because of its convenience,fastness,high precision and accuracy,the method is suited to determinate the contents of As,Hg,Cd and Pb in the five kinds of staple herb-medicine.
