Abstract
Wudang Mountains is the famous Taoist holy land in China,also the cradle of Wudang Taoism.Wudang Taoism has a long history and Taoist Culture is extensive and profound.The nominations of Wudang Mountains,seventy-two peaks,thirty-six crags and twenty-four streams were all influenced by Wudang Culture and religious.Wudang Mountains place-names either demonstrated Taoist dogmas or publicized Taoist immortal belief,exposing the basic spirit of immortality and human life being in a highly harmony with nature pursued by Taoist Culture.The combination of natural landscapes with artificial scenery in Wudang Mountains has increased the mystery of Wudang Mountains and enriched the content of Wudang Culture.
