Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of paclitaxel on the apoptosis of melanoma cells B16-F10.Methods MTT was used for testing the effect of paclitaxel on the cell proliferation and cell growth of B16-F10.Flow cytometer(FCM) was used for investigating the cell cycle and apoptosis.Results Paclitaxel inhibited B16-F10 with the concentration of 0.001 to 10|iM.The effect of paclitaxel on B16-F10 was concentration dependence and time dependence.With the increasing of concentration and lime,the effect was enhanced.Paclitaxel inhibited B16-F10 at GO/Gl phase with low concentration,while inhibited B16-F10 both GO/Gl and G2/M phases with high concentration.Conclusions Paclitaxel can induce the apoptosis of BI6-K10 cells,which may become new therapeutic strategy for melanoma.
