Abstract
The main bridge of Songhuajiang River Bridge on Wanggang-Wanle Railway Link Line is designed as a(60+9×96+60) m prestressed concrete rigid-frame continuous girder bridge with a continuous unit length up to 986 m,and the bridge incorporates both long continuous unit and long span structure into a whole and is located in the severely cold region. In this paper, the principal contents of design of the bridge and special problems involved in the design of the long continuous unit and multi-span bridge are described.
