Abstract
The paper surveys the classification of urban land uses,explores the methods for urban planning land,analyzes the land use methods in the urban planning combining with the situation in Taiyuan of Shanxi province,so as to provide some reference for land use planning in other cities,enhance the urban development and promote living standards of citizens.
