Clinical Observation on Salcalcitonin and XianLing GuBao Capsule in Treating 60 Cases of Osteoporosis Complicated with Pain

Abstract
Objective: To observe clinical effects of salcalcitonin and XianLing GuBao capsule in treating osteoporosis complicated with pain.Method: Sixty patients with primary osteoporosis were randomly assigned into treatment group and control group.Treatment group were administered with intramuscular injection of salcalsitonin and XianLing GuBao capsule while control group were injected with salcalcitonin only.Clinical effects,changes of bone density of right proximal femur and scale of clinical pain were observed.Result: Effective rate of treatment group was 96.67%,higher than 83.33% of control group with statistical meaning(P0.01);comparison of both groups showed significant difference in bone density of right proximal femur(P0.01).Conclusion: Salcalcitonin and XianLing Gu Bao are safe and effective method for osteoporosis.
