Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the expression of IL-2,IL-10 in oral lichen planus(OLP) and to evaluate the possible pathogenesis of oral lichen planus.Method:Immunohistochemical technique was employed to study the expression of IL-2,IL-10 in oral mucosa and ELASA was used for detecting the contents of IL-2,IL-10 in peripheral blood of 30 OLP cases.Result:The expression of IL-2,IL-10 were significantly increased in OLP compared with that in NOM(P 0.05).IL-2 was mainly localized in the lymphocytic infiltration, focus on the basal cell membrane and IL-10 was mainly localized in lamina propria separately. The amount of IL-10 was obviously elevated in erosion OLP peripheral blood compared with the non-erosion and NOM(P 0.05).Conclusion:The increasing expression of IL-2,IL-10 has also explained the association of these cytokines with Local anomaly Immune accommodation and Immune-Induced effects. The levels of IL-10 illustrated patients with OLP erosion might accompany with disorder of immune system or the immunity was associated with the cause of this disease.
