Abstract
In this paper,according to the general formula for the head loss of micro-irrigation project and based on orifice flow simplification of actual head line,the general equation of frictional head loss is worked out by using the differential method.According to the energy equation,the calculation formula of pressure head along the capillary,and the method for determining the maximum allowable length is given under different slopes.Providing a basis judgment of whether the outflow can meet the allowable deviation ratio of flow rate and for the calculation of the uniformity coefficient of micro-irrigation,while making use of the proposed method to determine the allowed maximum length and the layout of the pipe network,can save investment and provide a theoretical reference for the design of drip irrigation project.
