Abstract

Objective:To provide data for normal values of bone mineral density(BMD)in female of Changchun, the BMD of 2 005 women in Changchun were measured and to obtain the peak value of BMD,T-score percentage and the incidence of osteoporosis(OP),the changes of BMD in female with age were statistically analyzed. Methods:The BMD of 2 005 women of Changchun were determined by DTX-200 BMD detector produced by osteometer MediTech Corporation. All objects were divided into different groups by 10 years, and the results were analyzed by SPSS 13.0.Results:①The peak bone mass in female was showed in the age group of 30~39.The BMD decreased after 40 years, and more quickly after 60 years.②The incidence of OP was 14.74% in the age groups of 50~59,that was 51.25% in 60~69,74.42% in 70~79,and 86.11% in 80~89.Conclusion:OP in women is closely related to menopause and incidence of OP increases after 60 years. There is significant difference in the incidence of OP in different age groups(P0.01).The incidence of OP in female is significantly higher than that in female in different age groups.
