Abstract
A single-step RT-PCR assay for detection of classical swine fever virus (CSFV) was developed using a pair of primers designed from the conserved sequence of gene-unencoding region at 5’ terminal of the virus genome. The results indicated that this single-step RT-PCR assay was highly specific, sensitive and easy for earlier diagnosis of classical swine fever and identification of CSFV.
