Abstract
Objective To observe the protective effect of Danshen and ischemia preconditioning on liver from warm ischemia reperfusion injury. Methods Hepatic ischemia reperfusion model in 47 Wister rats was made by hepatic veins and artery reperfusion for 60 minutes following hepatic portal vein and artery occlusion for 30 minutes. Alanine transaminase, aspartate transaminase, lactate dehydrogenase, malondialdehyde contents, and superoxide dismutase activity were detected, and pathological examination was made. Results Above experimental data of Danshen treated group and preconditioning group are better than those of ischemia reperfusion control group. Conclusion Danshen and ischemia preconditioning may protect liver from warm ischemia reperfusion injury.
