Abstract
Objective: To detect the influence of Cystoscopy on serum PSA and FPSA in patient with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods: 32 patients of benign prostatic hyperplasia were examinated by cystoscopy, the effects of cystoscopy on serum PSA and FPSA concen-tration were observed. Results: The PSA and FPSA level before cystoscopy were 2.28±1.86ng/ml and 0.48±0.31ng/ml;The PSA and FPSA level on the first day after cystoscopy were 4.89±3.72ng/ml and 1.07±0.65ng/ml;either was significant changed(P0.05) .The PSA and FPSA level on the third day after cystosocopy were 2.42 ±1.92ng/ml and 0.51 ±0.28ng/ml.,neither was significant (P0.05). The changes of F/T were no significant after the procedures. Conclusions: PSA and FPSA concentrarion in patient with benign prostatic hyperplasia increased significantly after the procedures of cystoscopy that we can measuring the serum PSA and FPSA 72h after the procedures of cystoscopy.
