Abstrcat Based on switching network, the technology of Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) isa logical subnet which spans different network. It can avoid the network broadcast storm in orderto improve the performance, security, expansibility of whole campus network, The paper states animplementing case based on the technique of Virtual Local Area Network and network security.
