Abstract
Objective To investigate the status of human papiloma virus(HPV) among the women in Changde City, and to provide theoretical basis for preventing and treating uterine cervical cancer. Methods The infectious status of HPV in 1,285 outpatients of gynecology department was examined with gene chip technique in Changde City from February,2007 to August,2008.The infectious status of various subtypes of HPV was compared and analyzed. Results Among the 1,285 patients,215 cases were infected with HPV(16.7%).Out of the 10 subtypes of HPV,8 were associated with high risk types of HPV,with a positive rate of 82.3%.The positive rate of low risk types of HPV was 17.7%.Subtype HPV-16 occupied the first of all high risk types, followed by subtypes HPV-33 and HPV-18.
