Abstract
Through a series of theoretical analysis and experimental study about the cooling mode of steel ingot melted by vacuum induction melting furnace,it is summed that the steel ingot's defect can be disappeared through the application of the heat preservation riser head. When the size of the riser head is in the range of H180mm×Φ200,the steel ingot's defect is less than any other size.Through using the heat preservation riser head,we can improve the quality of the steel ingot and the wire's mechanical property.
