A Summary of Studies on Literary Tales of Tang Dynasty in the Year of 2004

Abstract

Novels in classical Chinese reach maturity by Tang Dynasty. An incomplete statistics indicates that there are about thirty published academic papers on Tang literary tales in the academic circles. Summarizing these academic papers from the views of range of subjects, artistic style and value indicates the great breakthrough of studies on Tang Dynasty literary tales in the year of 2004.
