Surgical treatment for lens dislocation

Objective To discuss the surgical management and the opportunity of lens dislocation. Methods Different surgical approaches were performed in 35 patients (35 eyes) of lens dislocation,including three-passage ciliary pars plana incision in 33 cases,limbal incision in 2 cases.All patients received vitrectomy and lensectomy. Results Compared with preoperative visual acuity,30 eyes improved,4 eyes unchanged,and 1 eye decreased.6 cases had postoperative complications,including hyphema and vitreous hemorrhage in 5 cases,ora serrata dialysis in 1 case. Conclusion Vitrectomy and lensectomy are the most efficient treatments for patients of lens dislocation.
