Abstract

Architecture of information interaction platform for Distributed Numerical Control(DNC) system of networked manufacturing in the workshop level was established. This platform integrated the information of the equipment level and the workshop applications level so as to realize integration and information interactions between shop-floor equipment and top-level application systems. An information integration framework of this platform based on Multi-Agent System(MAS)and Common Object Request Broker Architecture(CORBA) was proposed.Network structure and communication mechanism were constructed.Method using DNC system in this framework to meet the equipment level integration control and integrate information within enterprise and external systems was discussed.Key technologies, such as Agent,eXtensible Markup Language(XML) and Web services, were discussed. Finally, the realization and applications of this platform were introduced and its feasibility was proved.
