Abstract
The pitting corrosion behavior of N80 steel in aqueous NaCl solution containing 0.5 mol/L NaHCO3 was investigated making use of electrochemical noise(ECN) measurement and atomic force microscopic(AFM) observation. It was found that the number of the pitting peaks, the peak value and the life of the peak increased with the increasing concentration of Cl-.Moreover,there existed obvious correlation between the characteristics of the measured electrochemical noise spectroscopy and the change on the surface state of the N80 steel.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
