A Study on Coordinated Development of International Trade and Environment

Although international trade and environmental protection are interactive,simple trade sanction measures cannot effectively realize the purpose of environmental protection because trade sanction measures do not thoroughly solve the problem of lack of property of environmental resources.The idea of improving environmental pollution by relating environmental issue to trade issue is intended to maintain the fragile structure of environmental cooperation by using considerable benefits from trade cooperation,but it is disadvantageous in changing the payoff function of the original trade game and thereby affects stability of trade cooperation.As a developing country,China should focus on immediate interests,trade cooperation,gradually and progressively improve environment regulation criteria in a long run in the related game of trade and environment so as to promote coordinated development of trade and environment.
