Abstract

The relations between the arc and the chord length spread by a curve were used to crank out a table to be looked-up, which simplifies the curvature acquisition into the operation of chain code and looking-up the table. This algorithm all excels the former curvature algorithm. And it obtains fairly satisfactory effect in target identification of resisting affine distortion.
