Abstract
Insoluble salt of heteropoly-acid was used as catalyst for synthesis of linalyl acetate by esterification. The descending order of activity ratings of catalysts was:Triethanolamine salt of tungstosilicic acid TiO_2/SO~(2-)_4 tungstosilicic acidphosphomolybdic acid H_3PO_4;The actively catalyst is insoluble in alcohol and can be recovered and reused for more than eight times, and was used in the preparation of synthesis of linalyl acetate as catalyst for the first time;suitable conditions were investigated,The acetic anhydride to linalool was 1.4:1.0,reaction temperature 116℃,reaction time 6h and the amount of catalysts was 2.0%(base on the mass of linalool).Under these conditions the yield of synthesis of linalyl acetate was over 94%.
