Abstract
Since the opening and reform of China and especially since the 15th Party Congress, China's small and medium-sized enterprises have developed rapidly and played a more and more important role in the development of national economy and society. Being faced with more and more fierce market competition after China's entry into the WTO, however, how to deal with the competition is a problem that demands immediate solution to small and medium-sized enterprises. It is held in this paper that it is advisable for small and medium-sized enterprises to realize great-leap-forward development through technological innovation.
