Abstract
Objective To investigate the resistance of clinical isolates from our hospital in 2005.Methods Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was carried out by means of Kirby-Bauer(KB),and the data were analyzed by WHONET 5.3 software. Results Of 4 551 clinical isolates,gram-negative bacilli and gram-positive cocci accounted for 66.2% and 33.8%,respectively.The detection rate of methicillin-resistant isolates in Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)was 68.6% and 86.8% in coagulase negative Staphylococcus(MRCNS),neither vancomycin nor teicoplanin resistant isolate was found in Staphylococcus,Enterococcus faecalis of Enterococcus faecium. The prevalence of extended-spectrum β-lactamases(ESBLs)was 55.8% in Escherichia.coli and 43.5% in Klebsiella pneumoniae.Imipenem and meropenem were the most potent antimicrobial agents against Enterobacteriaceae(96%).The isolates of mutiple-drug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii were serious, the lowest resistant rate was to cefoperazone-sulbactam(35.7%),and 66.1% of the isolates was resistant to imipenem and meropenem. The most active agent against Pseudomonas aerugionsa was amikacin(resistant rate 14.7%),followed by ceftazidime,cefepime,cefoperazone-sulbactum and aztreonam(23%~29%),The resistant rate to imipenem(33.4%)was higher than that to meropenem(25.2%).Minocycline was the most active agent to Stenotrophomonas maltophilia,Chryseobacterium meningosepticum and Burkholderia cepacia(10%).Conclusion The antimicrobial resistance of common pathogenic bacteria was serious in our hospital, especially A.baumannii should be seriously betaken.
