Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical features of hepatitis B virus superinfection hepatitis E virus. Methods:The clinical datas of different age groups and HBeAg(+) or (-) groups of which hepatitis B virus superinfected hepatitis E virus were analyzed retrospectively. Results:In 107 patients:no significant differences in the levels of ALTPT BPC and TBIL were found in different age groups(P0.05),but there were significant differences in the level of A/G and WBC(P0.01 and P0.05).Moreover the mortality of the old age group was higher than the youth age groups(P0.005).No significant differences in the levels of ALT?TBIL?A/G?WBC and BPC were found in HBeAg(+) or (-) groups (P0.05),however,the levels of PT were significant different between two groups(P0.05),the mortalities among HBeAg(-)?HBeAg seroconversion and HBeAg(+) group were not significant different(P0.05).Conclusions:The mortality of the old age patients is highest among patients in which hepatitis B virus superinfected hepatitis E virus.Hepatitis B virus which is HBeAg(-) may be easier superinfected hepatitis E virus than hepatitis B virus which is HBeAg(+).
