Abstract

In this paper, common-mode conducted electromagnetic interference (CM EMI) of DC power supply with a 3-phase inverter is researched. Based on the study of CM EMI spreading paths, a new CM EMI frequency-domain equivalent circuit is presented, and a CM EMI source generated by power electronic switches is also studied. By using the measured frequency-domain impedance characteristic of motor and devices in experiment, CM EMI of the DC power supply system with a 3-phase inverter is studied between OHz and 150kHz. The result is agreed with experiment results. Therefore, the CM EMI frequency-domain equivalent circuit and CM EMI source proposed in paper are valid. Besides, some CM EMI characteristics of the system are given.
