Operation treatment and plastic problem of facial skin tumor

Objective To study the operative treatment and plastic problem of facial skin tumor.Methods The clinical materials of 217 patients with facial skin tumors in this department from January 2002 to December 2004 were analyzed.Results Sebaceous cysts were common in young people.Malignant tumors,which mainly consisted of basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma,were common in old people.Direct excision and suture,local skin flap,pedicle skin flap and full-thickness skin grafting were used to repair wounds and the appearance and function were very good.Conclusions In order to get good therapeutic efficacy,facial skin tumor is treated according to plastic surgery principle and individualized treatment plan is made.
