Abstract
Objective To evaluate the value of diagnosis and therapy of transvaginal sonography (TVS) in ectopic pregnancy. Methods A retrospective study of transvaginal sonography in 116 patients with ectopic pregnancy. Results The manifestation of ectopic pregnancy in 116 cases can be classified into six types on transvaginal sonography: pregnancy sac in 28, saccate masses style in 36, mixed type echo in 33, substantive lump type in 16,cervical pregnancy in 1, both inside and outside of the uterine in 2. Among them 93 cases were operated and 23 cases were cured by drugs. Conclusions Transvaginal sonography is effective on the diagnosis and on therapy guidance for ectopic pregnancy.
