Abstract

In the course of urbanization, more people living in the ruralarea are moving to cities. As people's living space is changing, the lifestyle of traditional peasants who have lost their land is also profoundly changed.Whether the peasants who have lost their land can be transformed into urban citizens and blend into city lives is not only concerned about their living, but also affects the urbanization process and the construction of harmonious society. At present, the peasants who have lost their land still have suspicions about their city status and they encounter many problems. Therefore it will take a long time to help them go through the successful transition. The government, society and peasants themselves should make all efforts to provide a social supportive network to help peasants adjust to the modern city life.
